Friday night giveaway

This week I have been rather swamped with work (two days in the office followed by a very intensive two days of editing at home). My knitting time has been sadly limited, although I did make it to my knitting group on Wednesday, which was as relaxing as ever.

I have just put parcel tape around the journal I have been editing to send it back to the publishers tomorrow, so to celebrate I thought I would give away my copy of the Friday Night Knitting Club. Apparently the film rights to this have been bought by Julia Roberts (a keen knitter, as I'm sure you know). I have read this copy, and did enjoy it although I found the ending a bit surprising and rather abrupt. It is good to read if you like knitting but it isn't 'literature' by any stretch. So, if you hanker after reading it, leave a comment by midnight BST next Friday and I'll put your name in a hat for a prize draw! Please leave an email address where I can contact you. I'll send the book anywhere in the world, so don't be shy!

Have a good weekend!

Happy belated birthday to your twins. I remember when mine were 6 it seems like years ago...wait it was years ago. Mine are 15 now b/g like yours. Noticed your Friday night giveaway and thought I might like to read the book. So if you wouldn't mind putting my name in the hat, I would appreciate it.

I'm about #200 on the list for that book at the local library. Not my usual sort of reading but a bit of fluff now and then is a good thing. There's a package winging it's way to you now! Keep an eye out :)

You cam put my name in the hat too....I have read and enjoyed 'Divas Don't Knit' - there is a web-site for that and you can download for free the patterns that the characters in the book are making. The author has already written two other novels about family life (one was made into tv play) and I thought it was better written than some of this sort, though still 'light' reading.

well done on completing the journal - I'm suggesting this for my book group to read I'm the only knitter in the group but hoping they will all enjoy it anyway.
I love the idea of passing on books- have you seen bookcrossing?

Definitely add me, I've been wanting to read it! Sometimes really light reading is just such a wonderful thing.

Please, add my name to the draw as well. I would love to read it and have no chance to get it at a library over here.
